PwnShop Server Changes

Been a while since news has been posted on this site.

If you haven't noticed, the kamikaze feature is back. After a long search for the crash bug within kamikaze it was finally found and fixed. This means that kamikaze will once again be enabled on our server and will once again be one of the prizes in diceroll.

Another thing that has changed is the way we run the server. For almost a week now, we have been running One vs All gamemode every night. To be precise, we now run One vs All every night at 8pm eastern time (GMT-4) which lasts for few hours. If you are fan of the gamemode, join up! The server will run regular gamemode (with some excessive and melee only here and there) during the afternoon to evening hours.

Finally, if any of you have any suggestions for what we already have, please do not hesitate to leave us some feedback in our forum.

Pwnshop videos and more

Also, our resident mapper Storm has started on yet another map. This one appears to be a CP map called Happygorge. You can find some WIP pics in this thread


Final bit of news here. We recently teamed up with a member named Silencer from http://www.sponsoring-community.de/ to bring you guys yet another Pwnshop server to frag on. You can get more info on that happening in this thread.

Howie has updated the Pwnshop with the latest TF2 server side update.

This morning I updated the server and got some HLDS mailing list mails that for some server operators this patch makes the server crash frequently.

I had 1 crash short after the update but it seems there hasn't been another one yet.
If it crashes please tell me and I'll try to find what it causes.

A happy little town called Happytown

In what some are calling the sequel to Happyfarm, Happytown is coming to a PwnShop server near you.

I could tell you more but I prefer to let the pictures do the talking.






This map is made by local hero Storm and is your standard AvD map (Attack vs. Defend). If you played TFC, think Avanti. There are four capture points each one further into the heart of Happytown. Please leave comments and feedback in this thread:

The map that was created by our local hero, Storm, and perfected with plenty of help and testing by players on the PwnShop UK, is now being released out into the wild in its 7th (or so) iteration.
